(My solution, however, had always been a different one: adding my blogs and my blog dashboards to the bookmarks bar of my browsers.)

At the moment, in place of "Visit Site" you get "Search Engines Blocked" (linking to the Privacy Settings) if you have selected the middle privacy option.
