<p>Have you done any customizations or used any kind of HTML codes like DIV tags?</p>
<p>There was another thread very similar to this a few days ago where someone found a misplaced or unclosed HTML tag that threw the formatting out of sequence.  I don't remember what the thread title was though.

			<description><![CDATA[<p>When dates are an issue the first thing to check is the date stamps and timestamps here &#62; Settings &#62; General. The default timezone is UTC time and that's the page where you change it to your own timezone.</p>
<p> If you have multiple sticky posts <a href="http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts" rel="nofollow">http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts</a> and if you remove the sticky designation they will be in correct order for blogs which is <em>reverse chronological order</em> with the most recent post on top.

<p>My front page is displaying posts infinitely - i have changed the setting but it still does.</p>
<p>And as you go down the front page, June will appear before august.  It should be chronological order, with the most recent 5 posts appearing ... but that isnt happening.</p>
<p>Can anyone help out?</p>
