Since this is a different issue to that which you originally posted, it's better to start a new forum thread outlining the problem in the title. That way you have a much higher chance of getting a better quality answer, and other people looking for the same answer will also find it too! :-)

As far as I know, Akismet saves spam in the database for 15 days so you can check it. After that, it's gone.
