Hi everyone,
Okay, here's the deal. I bought a domain name, bought a wordpress-compatible hosting plan, and am following all the correct steps for wordpress installation on this domain name. But here's my question. I bought the actual domain name through WordPress. I want to change the host from WordPress to Laughing Squid. I think I did this by following the instructions for "Edit DNS" but so far, the DNS hasn't updated. And I'm not sure it will, since the way WordPress has you edit DNS is different than the ways I've seen other places do it. Is there a step I'm missing or do I have to just wait longer until the DNS uploads?

Or is it impossible, once you buy a domain from WordPress, to have it hosted anywhere else?

Thanks!
