PS - this is where we normally refer you to the staff - but with no email I have flagged it. The first site I moved was a test site so I could work out the problems without taking my email down - works great now.

This is what my notes show I used while keeping my old email provider. (Well OK I changed the numbers to generic)

A mail 255.255.255.255
MX 10 mail.my-domain.com.

Hope this helps - looks like no full stop after the A mail but there is one after the .com. (period)

Good luck.

I will also mark this for the staff in case they have more words of help - there was a bit of a problem when I moved in the WordPress.COM uses a bit different syntax than my host was used to (same info but just looked a bit different)

Hello, last weekend I bought an upgrade to use my own domain (thelaiatelegraph.org) with WP. Work fine!!!.

After that I followed step by step the instructions to point my 8 mails addresses to my old provider (Arsys.com). Arsys send me the three parameters to edit in WP Domains Manager (A mail xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, A smtp xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, MX 10 thelaiatelegraph.org. More than 72 hours after, my mail doesn't receive (but its possible to send!!). I know I can use Google Apps, but I prefer, if this is possible (and I think so) continue to use the mail service by my old provider.

Before writing this post I send a mail to the support team, but then I realise that I can's receive mails ...Opps!

Kindly, Alex
