I directed my domain name servers to here (WordPress.com). How do I point it back to GoDaddy from here?

If you want to map to a blog here using the instructions I gave you above you need a blog here - at any rate you need a blog somewhere for your domain name to point to - if you purchased hosting at Godaddy then you want your blog there and point the name servers to Godaddy and set your site up there to catch your domain name - - you also need to install WordPress.ORG software on your Godaddy account

For more on the difference: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

BrooklynsCanvas.com is the domain name

I do not have a wordpress.com blog set up yet, only an account. Do I need to set up a blog first?

and yes, I have followed the instructions changing the namesavers to:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

After I submitted that, it said that it may take up to 48 hours.

I have also just purchased hosting through godaddy as well, in hopes that it would make life simpler.

Sorry if this had made you helping me more difficult.
