Relieved to have this transition behind me. Now I just hope and pray that my switch to Google App email works!

Looks like the changes I made at web.com have taken effect. I do have one follow-up question, though. Should I be seeing http://www.mcalhaney.com or mcalhaney.wordpress.com in the address field? I'm seeing latter. Since I've applied my domain name to the blog, I thought it would somehow shift to actually showing the domain name. Am I missing something?

Thanks,

Tim

Per the guide at http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/ they need to be:

NS1.WORDPRESS.COM

I have an existing website hosted on a private server for which I purchased the following domain - http://www.mcalhaney.com. I then setup a wordpress blog and in the cpanel on the other server set http://www.mcalhaney.com to redirect to my wordpress blog. I decided to cut out the middle man and go only with wordpress so I upgraded to the Domain Mapping feature for $13. I am something of a novice, but I thought that this meant that my wordpress site would be accessible via http://www.mcalhaney.com and mcalhaney.wordpress.com. This does not seem to be the case - http://www.mcalhaney.com is going to my old site on the old server and mcalhaney.wordpress.com does not work at all.

Help!

Thanks,

Tim
