Thanks. I've set up gmail with a wordpress site before. But this particular domain will be registered at register.com. So I guess what I'm really asking is whether or not the gmail MX records will be input at register.com, or at wordpress being that I'm looking to map my domain to a wordpress blog.

It's always worthwhile checking the support documentation first before posting. Here's what I found there by typing in "gmail" in the search box:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/

and two possibly relevant, recent forum threads:
http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/any-domain-mappers-using-gmail?replies=9
http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/direct-domain-e-mail-to-gmail-without-google-apps?replies=4

Hope that helps!

I pretty much understand how to do domain mapping but I wanted to clarify that I have everything in order before I do it and mess things up. I have a domain registered with register.com which I want to map to wordpress. When I change the DNS info at register.com for my domain, does that include email? The reason I ask is that I want to use gmail for business and want to know if I need to change the MX records for gmail on my register.com domain or withing the wordpress dashboard being that the DNS is pointing, or mapped, to wordpress. Thanks.
