The themes here are modified to run here and moving them off WordPress.COM can be a bit of a problem I am told by people that have done the move - however - you might ask at the company that made the theme you upgraded to if they have any discount since you have bought the theme here - all the premium themes are modified versions of a premium theme by an outside theme maker - some of the best around I am told - anyway worth a try - all you have to loose is a couple of emails

I bought a theme on WordPress.com. However, I found out there were certain annoying limits to the customisation and therefore I decided to install WordPress on my self-hosted site. Now is there anyway I can download the theme I paid for on WordPress.com so as to upload it on my own site?

Cheers
