1/If your browser is Firefox, you can simply right click on your post and click "save-as". Then, you can read the file offline on your computer and you can email it as well.

2/If you are having problem with print, it is probably due to your computer's set up. Make sure PDF creator or similar applications are available on your computer.

what about downloading the article to my desktop. i don't see an option for that associated with the "print" button which i was able to add to the blog thanks to your assistance.

i already send notice of my new posts to others via email with a brief tease. But i am getting questions from my readers about how they can pass along my articles to others.

My readers are an older group and can be put off by references to links etc. thanks, dan wise

I am still having a problem. Is there anyway that when I email a post to others that I can add my own comment to explain why the article is important.

No

Sometimes I will email just a link to an article I wrote to people - I will put in the email why they should read what I wrote or why the info is what they want - then I put a link to my article (Post) - no need to send the whole Post to anyone - the link makes for a smaller email

I am still having a problem. Is there anyway that when I email a post to others that I can add my own comment to explain why the article is important.

Alternatively, I don't see a way to save a blog article to my desktop when I click on the print button. If I could save it to my desktop then I could email it to others with a comment.

Your help so far has been invaluable. thanks, dan wise

Don't do that. Just go to your Dashboard Settings Sharing page and add the Print button. Then people can click on it and "print to file" ie save your post, or print it on paper.
