In the last step it will ask you with whom you want to publicize. You can chose your FB account or page there.<br />
It seems you have not publicize before. That's why your FB followers were not counted.

Wordpress is not so weak in maths :)

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I have 32 facebook Likes and then 31 email followers, so do I have 63 followers or 31? My site stats shows 32, but it only lists 18 facebook followers, and when I go to my blog it says 32..</p>
