Designsimply,

Thanks a lot for replying. I created another site a while back using TwentyEleven and I had access to the CSS via Editor -- I'm clearly confusing something with something else, but as long as I can get into the CSS at this point after having purchased the custom design upgrade, then I'll be cool. Thanks again!

The Appearance → Editor page was never made available on WordPress.com. That Editor page gives you access to edit theme files directly, which is not something WordPress.com offers as an option. It has always been an option for WordPress.org setups though.

Hi Timethief,

Thanks a lot for the response. I did purchase the custom design so I'll take a look at that link as soon as I post this reply. But just out of curiosity, did that feature change? I'm not going crazy, right?

Thanks again.

If and only if you are referring to a free hosted WordPress.com blog that you purchased a custom design upgrade for then this applies > http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/

If you are referring to a free hosted WordPress.com blog but have not purchase the custom design upgrade then you will not be able to access the theme editor.

Hi,

There used to be a way to get into specific style templates by accessing "Appearance," and then "Editor" in the TwentyEleven. I can't seem to locate it any more. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.
