I found this question on the forum and decided to take a look at my page in html. Lo and behold, for some unknown reason a few completely unnecessary 'align left' tags had appeared in my text. After I removed them, my sidebar was back in it's old position. I don't get much of html, but as long as I just do as I'm told, things seem to work.

I thought it might be due to the fact that this is a subpage which is not part of the main page. OTOH this page http://vanallemarktenthuis.wordpress.com/thuisonderwijs-onze-manieren/kleine-selectie-van-philips-bouwwerken/ is also a subpage but has a normal sidebar.
