I thought I had tried some of these earlier and had found they didn't work but I have tried again and they do!

The buttons above the box I am using now provide an easy way to insert allowed markup. Is it possible to have them for comments in our blog?

I have now put URL in my account details.

Other blog sites, including the one I am using now, allow some markup.

I appreciate the need for security but how can italicising be a threat?

This is primarily a security measure.
