It's not a problem on any other browser. Just IE. That was the first thing I checked. I also am sure that all my plugins, programs, etc. are up to date. I rebooted, I shut down and powered back on, I cleared my cache, I have no add-ons to disable and all the things that should be enabled are in fact enabled.

It wasn't a problem on any other website. The same video played direct from youtube.com without trouble. It played as an embedded video on my own site. The problem was with the WordPress.com site.

I'm connected through cable modem secured wireless home network with no proxy connections; and that was fine as well I'm sure because I checked out several other websites that might encounter the same type of problem and I couldn't get the incident to repeat itself on any of them, but the WordPress incident happened all day long. I'm using IE version 9.0.8112 with the update version 9.0.6. It's the 256-bit IE on a 64-bit windows 7 system.

The problem is still happening with regard to erroring out, but the pinterest pins are working now. Below is the information from the error report that pops up telling me to close the program or look for a solution. Obviously the look for a solution option isn't coming up with anything.

Have you resolved this issue? These are the troubleshooting steps we take whenever any issues like this arise:
clearing your browser cache and cookies > http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled
updating the browser to the latest stable version (not a buggy BETA browser version) http://browsehappy.com/
confirming third party cookies is enabled http://support.google.com/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=61416
confirming JavaScript is enabled http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654
confirming Flash is updated http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ and if required installing the latest version of Flash http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
resetting your router and modem and rebooting your computer
then logging in using the secure https:// log-in see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
trying another browser

If those do not work for you then we need to know
(1) how you are connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com. The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers.

(2) exactly which browser and version of it are you using. If you don’t know click here to find out > http://whatsmyuseragent.com/
