timethief, I already knew that clicking the post I could expand it, but I wanted the full page to show expanded posts in the category, for saving the whole page for offline browsing.

I found a theme that behaves as I wanted. Anyway, I think it would be nice that wordpress adds an "expand posts" link automatically for every theme that shows only the excerpt in the category. I think it would be usefull for many and bad for anyone.

n the majority of themes, posts in category or monthly archive pages show up just as they do in the main posts page. But in some themes only the beginnings of posts are shown, and in a few themes you only get titles or thumbnails. That depends on the theme. Certain themes display the full post (except if you use the "more" tag), some others display just the beginning (like Pilcrow, your theme), and some even display just the title (like Vigilance, my theme):

I'm having this problem. When I click on a category on my blog, for example: here

I only see the excerpt of every post. I would need a button/link "expand all posts" so that it shows the full content of each post, and not only an excerpt. (Like the link that appears on mobile devices that allow to show the full page instead of just the mobile version.)

I know some themes (few) does it, but wouldn't it be useful to have this link for every/most themes? The problem is I have to save the full posts of a category (and only one category, don't mixing posts from different categories) for browsing offline in a mobile device, so the excerpts aren't usefull for me.

If it isn't factible for every theme, which themes behave this way? (I would like one with a white background)
