The problem is, it's not working right now. Facebook developers have changed something and are trying to fix it, so until then it's not working on our blogs or WordPress.org blogs.

Hi,
I am unable to see facebook like button on my blog (i2voip.wordpress.com) I am posting via Windows Live Writer and using a Plugin to insert facebook like button. Is there any other way I can use Facebook like button automatically ?

he airodyssey,

well my blog has three cols - left, middle and right. the left just shows links and stuff, but also pictures according to these links. the middle col shows the content, the blog posts.

what happens: liking a post the picture that is shown is from this left col, a link picture, what has nothing to do with the post.

my blog post images are always bigger then 200 x 200 ...

any more idea?

@webknigge: Hi. According to this support doc, the images have to be at least 200 x 200 pixels, so perhaps that plays a role...

And for the sake of clarity, what you call the "light version of wordpress" is known as WordPress.COM, and the "FTP wordpress" is WordPress.ORG.

hope you can help me also altough my problem is a little bit different:

i´m using the light version of wordpress (do not have own FTP) and managed to add the like button below every post. but when you klick LIKE the post that appears on facebook always shows pictures from the left sidebar (like link buttons) and not the pictures of the post you liked. you can´t even choose (if the post has more then 1 picture)

i already opened a discussion with all my blogger friends cause the all have the same problem. as the use the FTP wordpress version they could fix it with a code they copied in their blog. i can´t do that cause i´m using the light version.

what can i do?

I can see the Facebook Like button at the end of all your posts on the front page of your blog.

You could have a browser issue so try changing your browser settings, refreshing the page, or clearing the browser cache and cookies - instructions for specific browsers.
Note that when you make adjustments to your browser settings -- changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security -- you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective.

My facebook like button under each blog post disappeared suddenly, even though it says it is active under Settings => Sharing, and it is dragged into the right spot in the Settings menu. It no longer appears on my blog posts. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a way to remedy this?

The other buttons (Twitter, Digg) are working just fine.
