The issue is that you have unnecessary style rule in your custom css. You need to remove the following rule.

.grid .featured-image img {<br /> height:110px;<br /> margin:0 0 20px;<br /> width:155px;<br /> }

I also see other style rules that are not necessary and they could interferes how the theme displays correctly . I'd recommend to clean up your custom CSS.

The featured image works best with images at least 350 by 248 (width, height).
