Currently, the featured image that you have set is only 600 pixels wide.

Its a regular sized photo. It's the drawing image with the post 'as the academic year rolls in with the leaves'. It shows up featured by the title, but not as the main featured image....

Which image did you set to be a featured image? If the width of the Featured Image selected is less than 620 pixels, it will not appear in the Featured Posts area.
