I know that there are certainly ways of creating footnotes with the tools available (though it would be nice if the provided symbols in the wysiwyg editor went beyond 3) but it would be kind of cool to have something that could track each footnote added. This may be a feature that can be added in your software version of WordPress, I'm not sure. Just an idea really.
