I once did some PR work for people who made a zen palette they called it; just a round piece of dry (not shiny) green slate that stood upright in a tiny Zen sand garden. It had a little bowl carved like a lotus leaf and a Chinese paintbrush, and the idea was you painted on the round slate with water and then it evaporated. Some people painted wishes, so when the water evaporated it was like Tibetan prayer flags that, as they fade, carry your wishes to the gods. Some people painted on them things they wanted to get rid of, like ex-husbands.

which is a follow on to the question game of 'what animal do you resemble. It is called 'What would paint on stone for all the world to behold'. It's like the old rock and cave paintings :D

I would paint a bear in starlight with my hand print in paint beside it :)
