The Gallery shortcode should automatically take care of that. What the shortcode should look like in your Editor is:

[ gallery columns="2" ] (without the spaces after the first bracket and before the second one)

That automatically generates this code in your Post

If you used the Gallery feature to insert your images, the default display of thumbnails is 3 per row. For some reason your thumbnails aren't being resized to the correct the which is probably why you are getting the above display. (Also in FF by the way)

You can change the number of columns Gallery displays by modifying the shortcode [gallery columns="2"] Taken from this:

Just as an aside, your photos while great are HUGE, which makes loading time terribly slow. Maybe think about resizing them before uploading to your blog?
