Understandably I would then get notifications of those "visitor" comments. But a look at the addresses on the emails shows that although one or two were from my alter ego, some were also from my main address/ID.

(Going to eliminate those alter egos to prevent that from happening again.)

There are options to trash or delete them, but I was afraid those meant remove the comment from the blog post, and I don't want to do that.

I do have several user names on the account, but I am logged in under the name that registered the blog.

I don't want them; they clutter my inbox. I only want to know when visitors comment.
