That's no "but"!

aw1923 is right, that relic of a tab is what you get if you delete the title of a parent page (in your case it's the About page).

The Support doc on static front ( http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ ) deals with the double-home issue (by linking to this: http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/hide-pages/ ).

Problem is, in MistyLook you automatically get links to child pages on their parent. So you'll have to find a CSS way of hiding either the extra header tab or the child-page link. Or switch to another theme.

It might be a bug in the theme, there doesn't seem to be anything in the CSS that's causing this. Did you publish a page that didn't have a title??

If not, try contacting wordpress to see what the issue is

Im trying to create a page, and using the theme Mistylook i've noticed there is a small half of page tab in the upper left corner of the site. It is on the right side of the tab for my home page.

Is there any way to correct this, or remove it. I have custom CSS.
