There are two ways around this.
1. Don't have a custom header

2. Install WordPress on your own domain and then adjust the CSS for the header container size.

I've done as mentioned above. However, if you do visit http://naiise.wordpress.com you will notice that the header portion where i inserted my logo is still very huge. I have tried resizing the logo image size but to no avail.

The theme has a dynamic featured post area (shown just below the site title on the home page) which is a snap to use: just add big featured images—at least 950 pixels in width and 270 pixels in height—to your Sticky Posts and you are good to go. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/triton-lite/

I seem to be stuck with fixing the image header of my blog.

It seems that when i upload a small image, the image appears pixelated.

When i insert an image with a huge width but small height, there appears to be plenty of empty space below.

Any help would be sincerely appreciated.
