But when I press insert, the caption doesn't show up either.

In Firefox I cleared cache and cookies again. I deleted pics that I wanted captions and reinserted but same thing happened: the Update button doesn't work. I click on the pic I just inserted into the blog to Edit Image and edit in the popup box. Although the border appears as I commanded, the caption and the right side alignment don't work and pic appears in middle of page instead.
I don't know what to do!

a) "I did paste using the Paste from Word option." Doesn't look like it: the post is full of wrong code tags for font, size and color. Anyway, as I said, select all in the Visual editor and click "Remove formatting".

a) I did paste using the Paste from Word option. I can't remember but I may have had trouble using Paste from Word option before.

b) I tried to edit the pictures by writing the captions when I first uploaded them and also after inserting them, I clicked on the pic in blog and clicked on the Edit Image icon. A pop-up box appears with Edit Image tab and I wrote caption in there. I re-select right alignment and I click Update and goes back to blog but no caption and photo is moved from right to left. so that Update doesn't work.

Edit the post, select all in the Visual editor, click the "Remove formatting" button, click Update. Same thing for the previous post.
In the future, never copypaste from other sources into the Visual editor: when you need to paste, paste via the "Paste from Word" or "Paste as Plain Text" buttons, or paste into the Text editor.

b) The images have no captions. Where exactly did you try to write them?

In Edit mode, The text and visual mode show my headings (Heading 2), but won't show in Preview. I went ahead and published but doesn't show the headings; shows Paragraph text instead where I want Heading 2.
Also, photos won't show captions I write in in either edit mode or preview.
I use Firefox, latest version. I reloaded site, cleared cache and cookies. Something is amiss.
