The blog linked to your username is a free hosted WordPress.com blog and this is the WordPress.com support forum.

If you are referring to a WordPress.org install that can have plugins then you need to post to the WordPress.org support forums which are located on a completely separate site > http://wordpress.org/support/

You can have slideshows on your free hosted WordPress.com blog linked to your username. See > http://en.support.wordpress.com/slideshows/

We do have themes that have post sliders on the front page for featured posts with featured images. In most themes with featured post sliders visitors have to click to advance the slider to the next featured post. Some themes have a featured post slider that automatically advances: Debut, Currents, Linen, On Demand, Modularity Lite. (the first 4 are premium themes) and the last one is a free theme.
