What we generally recommend is embedding the code in some external page like a Google Doc, and linking to it from a text widget or Alert.

I am told to make sure I add the auto responder feature now on my blog vs. later.

I was told the auto responder is a widget, but not sure where to start.

Bottom line, this must be clear, I have lots to learn.

But, best place to start learning how to do this, simple step by step way to approach might help me. Anyone up for this? TX:>
