Hello,

This is probably the simplest question ever but if I purchased my domain through godaddy and I want to build my site using wordpress, do I go to my godaddy account and set up the name servers on their end?

It can take 24 to 72 hours for changes to reach the far corners of the internet - changes usually start after a few hours but due to caching issues you will probably be the last one to see the changes

Hi
I am trying to map a domain name I own to my wordpress blog but getting an error message.
DNS servers changed to NS1.Wordpress.com... etc
Domain when looking at this tells me the DNS is correct
When i click to view I get the following message :

404. That’s an error.

The requested URL / was not found on this server. That’s all we know

Any help gratefully received as I am new to wordpress
