I noticed that there was a guided tour option for purchase for those wanting to do the transfer over for them. Are there any options for those that have made the transfer but are having issues? Like can I just pay a happiness engineer a portion of that price to quickly fix my link issues for me since I have done everything else already?

It might take a few weeks before Google updates their search results. The 404 errors logs is generated by some plugins, we don't support that.

If you're having problems with a site not hosted with WordPress.com, we may not be able to help. To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.You can find support for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress here and here.

Regarding the IP address URL: What address is listed under the 'Site URL' in Settings -> General in your blog's dashboard? Could you also please try to disable/enable Jetpack and reconnect.

Also...I am having 404 errors all over my blog and bluehost told me that it is because wordpress.com still has both wordpress and bluehost listed as the nameservers. I logged into my domain manager and can only see bluehost listed. I was then told to call Wild West Domains to make sure that it is just bluehost listed and Wild West Domains told me that they can't help me because wordpress.com owns my domain. Please, please help me with this and the "followers" issue. It is drastically messing with my traffic and has been going on ever since I switched over!

And I'm also confused why my followers didn't come with the switchover.

Once you are set up and have your URL is place Staff can can move your email subscribers only. Followers using the WordPress.com Reader cannot be transferred because there is no WordPress.org Reader or in fact a community with shared in-house features like there is here at WordPress.com.

What's required is:
installation and activation of the JetPack plugin on your WordPress.org isntall;
posting both URLs for the underlying .wordpress.com blog and the domain into this forum thread;
tagging the thread with modlook in the sidebar;
subscribing to the thread so you are notified when Staff make the transfer.
