I'm working on a worpress blog hosted in a private site with my own domain (not the free wordpress).

I don't get why in my dashboard i can't find some features that i can find in the "free wordpress".
For example:
- In "Privacy" i can't find the option to "hide" my blog while i'm working on it.
- I use Oxygen template and to run the "Stiky posts" i have to "create a page" and in the attributes of the page i have to choose "Showcase" ...but while in the free wordpress i can set a page as "Showcase" in my self hosted wordperss i can't find that attribute... so i can't run the stiky posts...
Why??
