There was a small bug in the theme that prevented the Carousel and gallery captions from working properly. I've fixed it up and it looks like all is working now. Let us know if you find any other issues.

To test this I switched my demo site to Hero, clicked on any gallery thumbnail and by default the image opened in its Attachment page, even though the Photo Carousel is enabled under Media settings.

Also, Captions on images appearing in Galleries using the square or rectangle "type" parameter are fixed and overlay the image, they do not "slide into sight".
