Another way you might deal with this is to post the material as just another post (so it'll have tags and be noticed by Google), but then also add a link to it in a text widget, and give that widget a title like "Important posts" or something. That way it will always be visible.

There are many differences between Pages and Posts. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
The most outstanding one is that pages are for static content that rarely changes. They do not automatically update and they do not have RSS Feeds. Hence, no one can subscribe to them. Read more here > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/05/12/better-blogging-at-wordpress-com-pages-and-posts/

but every year would have a new adding post. Any suggestions for that?

Yes. Update the page manually and then publish an annual post with a link to the page in it. Why? Posts have Google juice (lots of it) and Pages don't.

Hi! I've created a new page recently, because I was needing a kind of a post that was permanent and always visible. But unfortunately, all the content of the new page is not visible to search sites like Google cause it doesn't allow tags. Is there any other way I could do something permanent that permits tags? In my case, the new page would show awards history (that is permanent), but every year would have a new adding post. Any suggestions for that? Thanks for your collaboration and keep the good work!
