There are plenty of plugins and resources for wordpress.org site but not wordpress.com!

There is no need for plugins for the purpose you indicate. Some feedreaders display media files and some do not.

More to the point there is no FTP access and we cannot install any plugins. If you believe you need plugins then hire a web host and set up your own WordPress.org install. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
