She only wanted to emphasize that the move is permanent. What I do find arrogant is the attitude of some people moving from Windows Live Spaces who take it out on us, unpaid volunteers who have not asked to be treated this way.

Blame Microsoft. They are the ones that are killing live spaces. Most services that terminate don't even try to find you a new home, they just say adios (sometimes) and close the doors.

You can export your blog from here anytime you want and move wherever you want. There is tumblr, blogger, typepad, livejournal ning and others. Explore, find one that gives you everything you want.

As far as your account goes, delete your blog here and then just forget about it. It's no big deal.

I am SO with you... I am totally not able to like this, and wish I'd kept my Live Space up to the very end, rather than messing with this GARBAGE.

I love (NOT) the arrogant tone in the reply you received...

Ever feel like you've been taken hostage?? Well, you have now. "They" even refuse to delete an account stating it poses a problem for their software. As an 40+ year I.T. veteran I say that's a blatant lie.
