Oh my! I just read this thread again. I assumed too much above.

Any followers from connected Publicize services (Facebook, Twitter, Messenger Connect, Yahoo!, or LinkedIn), which you can check in Settings -> Sharing

Go to your site stats page and click Totals, Followers & Shares
http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/#totals-followers-shares

Click the Blog link under the number and the Site Stats » My Followers page will open. Click the Email Followers link.

Hello again:

Currently I can only see the number of email followers in my site stats. ... Is there a way to see the email addresses?

Setting aside the email address in comments which I spoke to above, that's all the email addresses you will see.

Hi, I'm not quite sure I understand. I want to be able to capture the email addresses of people who DO choose to enter their addresses, simply to know who the followers are. Of course I would not be using the addresses in any way. Is there a way to see the email addresses? Right now I can only view a count of followers. Thanks!

There are several ways followers can follow your blog. There is no listing of the email addresses of those who do not choose to follow your blog by receiving email updates.

Please also be aware that when visitors post an email address for the prupose of submitting a comment that is a specific use. The email address cannot be used for any other purposes whatsover. In countries like Canada where I live using an email address that was provided only for the purpose of submitting comments for any other purpose is illegal.
