Sent from other blogs? Yes. Take a look at Dashboard -> Presentation -> Themes -> Sidebar Widgets.

You'll see something labeled RSS 1. This is where you use the widget to get the RSS feed.

Click the white and blue box with the three lines and a JavaScript window opens.

Take the RSS feed that you want to use and place it in the slot under the "Enter the RSS feed URL here:" bit.

If you want to give it a title (ie the Blog name) and you should, that goes under the "Give the feed a title (optional):"

You can also tell the widget how many links you want to display with the drop down menu at the bottom. Maxinum is 10 items.

Click on the black X at the upper right of the JavaScript box top save it.

Now to use it, you do have to slide over the RSS 1 bar over to the right under one of the box that says "Sidebar 1" or "Sidebar".

Click on the "Save Changes" button to save it.

That should be everything.

You can make more of the RSS widgets further down on the page.

They will only display the title of the post and a link to it. It won't pull in the text of the article though.

Hope this helps,

That's why I said "Not sure what you are asking here..."

I don't know anything about feeds. So I just leave it the way it came on my blog. There's a choice if I want two feed things. I don't know if I need it. And other sites have all these things like Feedburner and add to Yahoo things. I know I'll screw up if I change things or try something new. So I'll leave the feeds as they came.

I am new to blogs and have a question about RSS FEEDS. I recently came across a website, http://www.blogthings.com. It has an option on the left that says "Get new Blogthings Via" and it has options then at the bottom it says RSS FEEDS. I click on it and it sends me to the page http://www.blogthings.com/things/wp-rss2.php . On that page it displays code.

Truthfully I am lost and don't know that much about the RSS Feeds. I am looking to learn about them. So if you could help me with it. Or maybe you could give me an example that I could do to learn about them? Which ever you think would help me. Thank You For Your Time. :D

HOW does one place an RSS FEED logo on their Weblog?

Thought it was automatic, but it is not there. And it's not in the 'DASHBOARD' that I can tell.

CONFUSED, FRUSTRATED.
