Thanks for your suggestion. That's the desired effect but target="_blank" does not work.

On the Mystique theme the social networking links at the top of the blog are used by you to link to four popular social network profiles. Go to Theme Options and enter the data. I do not know if it will allow you to enter target=”_blank” so they open in new windows or not at the end of the URLs or not.

I have my own in an HTML table in a text widget but I'm guessing that's not what the user wants. I'm thinking he wants the feature Mystique has which isn't available on any other themes here. However, I could be wrong about that.

Or use a text widget with images that link to your profiles at Facebook, Twitter, etc. Not the same effect as Mystique but close enough.

The other themes do not have that feature. So your answer is change your theme to Mystique.
