auxclass - thanks for the response. That email address will not be the one I use when I get this figured out.

Also, I will be creating original content as part of this system. I'm just trying to find a way to systematically merge feed based content with my original content on the same topic in certain cases.

Posting your no longer "secret email" address in a public forum is never a good idea - you should change it.

WordPress.COM is big on original content and death on auto posted stuff and content that is not original - also depending on what you are auto-posting you might have a Terms of Service issue - you might review the links below you get too far along.

I don't think you can do what you want directly, as this would require the "post by email" address to respond to the verification request. The only thing I can think of is to use some alternative mail forwarder instead of gmail. The only services that alow this without verification that I know of are ones that come with registered domains such as domainmonster.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. You need to have the email address verified to use automatic forwarding.

I'm trying to have the results of a google news alert automatically post when it finds something with certain keywords.

Thanks.

gmail won't forward unless I can verify the email address

What do you mean by that? I use Gmail and didn't have to "verify" an email address to use Post by email.

I want to forward certain emails from gmail to the secret email address I got from the "Post by Email" feature, but gmail won't forward unless I can verify the email address. I can't find any way to do that. Any help would be appreciated.
