First, how do I see what my pages look like after editing?

Click the [preview] link in the Publish module.

I named six categories and they don't show anywhere either?

Please read these sections know that categories and tags can only be assigned to posts (not to pages) and until there is a published post in a category there is no data to be displayed.

Brand new to WordPress, and having difficulties.... First, how do I see what my pages look like after editing? Second, how do I affect the links/tags/meta etc in my right column? Want to give them names, and haven't a clue how to do it. I named six categories and they don't show anywhere either?
