AJ had a good idea. It occurred to me that you have yet another option, depending on what you want to accomplish. You might try using Google Docs to put your spreadsheet online. You can include a link on your site to share it publicly, or you can invite individual people via email.

Here's a bit of an outside the box idea. It will require a bit of work but it should get the job done if you're not looking to add too many columns.

Let's say that you have 1 table with 4 columns. You could create 4 pages where each page displays a different column sorted view.

Here's where it comes together. You can use hyperlinks in each column header which will take you to a sortable view after the page loads.

Just a thought.

You can't do that here at wordpress.com as it would require javascipt to accomplish (or a MySQL database and then some PHP script and MySQL queries), and we can't do those things for security reasons.

Hi All,

I use WordPress.com so can't use plugins, and am looking to make the tables I use on my site sortable, and if possible, pull up results based on a search of an Excel database I have in the background. Site is http://www.averageopposition.com, and am currently just posting pictures of Excel onto it.

Any guidance is welcome.

Cheers,

Liam
