#header {
	position: relative;
}
.widget_search {
	position: absolute;
	top: 260px;
	right: 100px;
}

Adjust the top and right values to move the search widget around on the page.

Note that if you add additional widgets, it will probably throw off the spacing and you will need to adjust again.

Thanks, yes I do have the upgrades and have made a few small changes but cant seem to get the search bar to align with the menu...

I am using the Imbalence 2 theme.

I also would like to remove the space between the menu bar and my posts.
