With the Custom Menu feature you can create a custom link to redirect one blog to another.

I did explore the guide to Twenty Eleven but your response confirms my suspicions. The demo site consists of two separate blogs. It was a bit confusing to me at first as I thought the "photo site" was a page on the demo site, while in actuality it is a separate site.

The Twenty Eleven theme features three default layouts for your blog. One of those layouts turns Twenty Eleven into a tumblelog theme.

The Layout option can be found under 'Appearance' -> 'Theme Options' in your Dashboard.

When I click on Photo Site it appears I am taken to a separate site using the Twenty Eleven theme. When I first saw the demo I thought the "Photo Site" was part of the demo blog.

I guess I want to know if I am correct in my assumption. I would like to have a site that has a two separate post pages, one for photos and one for written posts.

Is this possible with any themes?
If not, can I achieve this by linking two separate sites (as it appears to be done in the Twenty Eleven theme demo)?
