I don't understand why WordPress doesn't offer the possibility to delete subscribers..

Public blogs are "public" and any public blog that offers email and/or RSS Feed subscriptions offers them to all. Anyone can subscribe to an RSS Feed and use a feedreader to read posts and comments on any public blog. Any deleted email subscriber could simply subscribe again as we can all get a new email address and/or IP very easily.

We cannot delete or block subscribers from subscribing to a public blog. If you enable blog subscriptions by email on a public blog there is no way to block any subscribers, other than changing your blog’s visibility to “private”. Moreover, anyone can subscribe to a public blog's feed. However, you do have complete control over approving comments. I suggest that you use Comment Moderation. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/ Also note on this page > Settings > Discussion you have the ability to comment blacklist. This will send all comments from that individual directly into your spam queue. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/#comment-blacklist But be cautious about using it as ISPs place hundreds of us in the same IP to save money, so you could end up affecting more than a single person.

Hello,

I would like to know whether it is possible to delete subscriptions to your blog; subscriptions of people of whom you don't want that they follow your blog.

I don't see how to do this and it is really very annoying...

Thank you,
