Aha! That read-more tag is exactly what I was looking for. So after every new post, I can just edit the last to read more. Thank you :D

In the majority of themes, posts on category or other archive pages show up just as they do on the main posts page. But in some themes only the beginnings of posts are shown, and in a few themes you only get titles or thumbnails. We cannot edite temeplates or themes so that means you need to switch themes to get the display you want on Categories pages. See > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/25/full-posts-in-archive-pages/

I asked a question similar to this a few days ago but haven't received a response. Please forgive me for reposting, but I'm not sure I was very clear.

Basically I want my older posts to display only as previews, with maybe a Continue Reading link below the initial image. It seems untidy to have every post displayed in full. The same goes for my category pages. I'd rather they displayed previews and not the full posts.

I don't have a lot of posts right now so I don't know if this is why full posts are being displayed, or if this is something I have to change in settings somewhere.

Also, on a somewhat related note, another reason I'm trying again with this question is because I can't find the original one. I know no one replied because I didn't get an e-mail update, but is there any way to find my past forums posts? I tried searching keywords and my blog name but couldn't find it. Hopefully this will save me from cluttering the forums with reposted questions.

Thank you in advance.
