So if the video player used by VH1 is not supported by WordPress, then there is no way to embed it?

@torlarson54 Correct I recommend to try finding the same video through one of the supported embed video sites. The other option is to link to the video in your post

Embedding videos is free of all charge, except in one case. The only paid upgrade for videos is for the videopress upgrade it allows you to upload videos from your computer for hosting and playback directly within your blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/videopress/
That does not apply to your situation.

However, the embed function doesn't seem to work - when I paste it into my blog and then preview it, it just shows up as the code vs. generating the video.
