The theme "Manifest" is justified. It's fairly empty, but I think it looks good for what it is. I used to use "Manifest" but I felt like it was limited in its presentation as well as its overall capabilities. Honestly, there hasn't been a theme that's really "wow-ed" me yet.

Well, thank you, at least, for the info. I guess, because I really do like the neater look of justified. The "holes" are hardly prominent...most of the time. It's not right for everything, but it does fit with the elegant, formal, and compact feel of my site. I use pictures and short paragraphs, anyway.

I guess I will just have to remember to manually set it for each post...or eventually shell out for Custom Design.

@justpi
Hello there,
Do you have a post that lists which themes do have justified default text?

It's not possible to change it once for all without the Custom Design upgrade. But in some themes the default text is justified, so you could consider switching to a different theme.

We cannot edit themes or templates on fre hosted WordPress.com blogs. I'm visually l challenged and I find left aligned text to be more readable. Justifying text creates "holes". Blog editors are not word-processors and I accepted that years ago. I never use code to justify text justify text and I don't use code to indent text at paragraph beginnings either. Writing for the web is not the same as writing for print media. Because I'm visually challenged I had no problem divesting myself of the "proper" paragraph formatting . I comprehend that short paragraphs are the way to go and why that is. I'm aware that there must be "white space" and/or images to provide ease for the eyes.

I prefer the look of justified text (it just looks nicer), but . Is there a way to change the default template so that new posts are automatically justified? I'm too absent-minded to always remember to do it manually. I do NOT have the Custom Design upgrade.

Thanks :)
