Since I'm not a big fan of sidebars, I have chosen to activate this feature.

I have one problem with this though. Now people can't subscribe to the "Receive notifications of new posts by email" as this is a widget for the sidebar.

Now my readers have two possibilities to subscribe:

  • Feedburner, but I'm more into the professional look of the mails, sent out by WordPress. The look of Feedburner is a bit cheap.
  • When they write a comment, they can tick the "Notify me of new posts via email" underneath the comment box. But not all what's to comment to subscribe. And this possibility is quite hidden in the bottom of the pages.

Does anyone know how to get a "Notify me of new posts via email" in the main column?
