1. password protect the blog. nobody can view it, but nobody can comment too. kinda like locking your house so nobody can enter.

2. manually close comments on posts to disable it. http://support.wordpress.com/posts/post-discussion/ or http://support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/

3. for the first article to be visible, you can make it a sticky post and edit your reading settings so that your previous posts will not appear at the front page.

We don´t want to delete the blog. It should be impossible to add comments. Even nicer would it be, if just the first article would be visible. How can we do that? Thanks for suggestions.
