I have until January 15 to renew - a renewal date WordPress reminds me of on a daily basis. When you say "it's just parked", not sure what you mean. Is the domain name now in the hands of someone else, meaning a new owner?

Are you sure you renewed your domain? You have to renew both domain purchase and mapping annually.
